Brian Tanti

Brian is an internationally acclaimed restorer and coach builder who serves as the patron of the Vintage Drivers Club.

With over 37 years of experience in the automotive industry, including a prestigious tenure as Director at the Fox Collection - Classic Car Museum, Brian is celebrated for his expertise in building and restoring classic cars. His restorations have garnered national and international accolades, earning praise from prominent figures including Lord Elgin of the 20-Ghost Club.

Brian is also a respected artist, having had his works displayed in exhibitions like the Heidi Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery of Victoria. He founded the Auto Horizon Foundation to foster the growth of Australia's automotive industry and encourage youth engagement. His efforts have been pivotal in challenging the stereotypes associated with automotive work and promoting community-industry collaboration.

In additional to his role as patron of our club, he has previously served on various other boards and organisations, including the Specialty Vehicle Manufacturers Group and the Ringwood Technical Training Facility. His insights as an RACV Auto Interest Consultant and his expertise in car valuations have made him a sought-after figure in both private and public sectors. Now based in Sydney, Brian brings his unparalleled knowledge and passion for vintage automobiles to a new audience.
