    For Sale

    1954  Austin Sommerset $2500 o.n.o

Car has been shedded in an open front farm shed for a long time.  I am selling it for a neighbour of ours.  We bought it on a car trailer to our place and I got it running.  I have advertised it for him.  It is not registrated.  I have driven it up and down our driveway several times.  I don't think it has had a hard life.

Lights aren't working - I haven't checked them out.  Has one broken Boot hinge, some play in diff pinion - may be nut loose.  I haven't checked it out.  Upholtery on drivers side seat is torn.  Speedo still works but needle fluctuates a little, has 86000 miles on clock.  Capillary Temp gauge is broken.  No leaks cooling system.  Whole vehicle hasn't been cleaned for years, so as you can imagine......a bit messy.  Has twin carb inlet manifold but only has one carry, the other side blanked off.  The hand brake works but no foot brakes.

Vehicle has surface rust but chassis, boy panes and underneath are all good.  It is a sound car, motor good, starts easy, gear-box good.
