Camp & Picnic Area 15 km NE of Heathcote, via Heathcote – Costerfield Rd, about 4 kms of good gravel

Free Camping, Suitable for Motor Home, Caravan, Camper Trailers & Tents, Clean drop toilets, Shaded camp area, No pets, Phone reception, Fires allowed.
Must bring drinking water with you. Heathcote National Park is a great place for bushwalks.
Mt Ida, Mt Black and Viewing Rock provide views of Heathcote and surrounding areas. The park also has a rich history with relics from the gold rush and war era to discover at Graytown.
Melvilles Lockout is a prominent ridge where Captain Melville reputedly waited in ambush of miners during the gold rush.
Township of Heathcote is an easy short drive where supplies can be purchased.
A drive around the area will be organised for Saturday afternoon.
