This 1937 Phantom III Sedanca De Ville (chassis number 3AX49) has outstanding provenience, being originally delivered to the Duchess of Marlborough at Blenheim Palace, United Kingdom. The Rolls Royce Phantom III was the last pre-World War II Rolls Royce to be produced.

Manufactured from 1936 to 1939 there were only 727 units of this luxury car released. This model was the last car that Henry Royce worked on before he died, adding to the fame and prestige of the Phantom III.

The body of 3AX49 was made by Hooper as a limousine. An aluminiumalloy V12 engine powers this car with, an original top speed of 87mph. Having been well maintained by its previous owners, 3AX49 was restored over 2023-24, including: recommissioned engine thoroughly checked, water pump generator repaired, ignition overhauled, partially rewired, new radiator, rear upholstery, tyres and battery.
