1924 Bean Fourteen - Barn Find

Expressions of interest

This survivor has been in the same family The Browns for almost 100 years.

Chance to purchase this one family owned Bean Fourteen.

The family purchased the vehicle in 1924 and had the company build the body in England then it was delivered out to Australia arriving in 1925.

Original documentation describes many trips from Melbourne to Canberra via the coastal route The owner passed away in the 1930’s leaving the car to his two children who lived in Greenhills (Greensborough as we know it today) There is so much to this story it’s truly an unbelievable find. The car is currently still in Melbourne.

An oil change. Plugs cleaned. Fuel tank cleaned out and she started and runs perfectly. Then the big moment…... does she actually drive? Amazingly drove her around the block. All gears working and what a joy it was.

Totally original and never been painted. Trim obviously has seen the light of day, but everything is still there in place including the hood frame.

No rust whatsoever and on close inspection the timber frame is amazing. Obviously well looked after. Has been in a shed for the past fifty years until now.

More than happy to pass on paperwork to the lucky new owner.
