Spirit of the Twenties 2019

“Spirit of the Twenties” 2019 will be a touring rally of Tasmania, extensively covering the many scenic features and attractions the State has to offer. Approximately 1000 miles will be covered on the tour route and some sections of unsealed road will be encountered.
The event will commence on Sunday 6th October in Devonport and finish in Devonport on Saturday 19th October.
A block booking has been made on the Spirit of Tasmania for the Melbourne to Devonport evening crossing on Saturday 5th October and the return crossing on the evening of Saturday 19thOctober.
Areas covered will include North and North West Coast, Strahan and Macquarie Harbour, Central Highlands and Lakes District, Launceston and Tamar Valley, East Coast, Hobart, Huon Valley and D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Derwent Valley and the Midlands region. A feature of the tour will be a trip to the southernmost point of Australia to which you can drive, Cockle Creek.
To enable the organiser to ensure adequate block bookings for accommodation etc. are made, Expressions of Interest are called for.
Places on the tour are limited, and it should be noted that preference will be given to eligible vintage vehicles; expressing an interest does not guarantee a place on the tour.
